About the Founder

Hello! - I am so excited you found my little corner of the internet.

I love reading and I love writing.  Even more, I enjoy reading books and articles that challenge my faith and strengthen my resolve to love God even harder.  What a great creator we have!

I am often told I live with my head in the sand because I am so optimistic in a world that many people are finding hopeless.  So not true!  The Lord is in control and with Him at the helm there is always hope.  This truth makes me excited and I can't help but be joyful....most of the time (hey, I am human and have bad days).

I love to encourage people to keep their minds on the wander of God and to dwell on the things not of this world but on whatever is true, honorable, and lovely (Philippians 4:8).  That is the Lord!

Some quick tid-bits about me:

• I am a homeschool mom.  I know...explains a lot right!
• I love music and teach piano and voice...hmmm I might use a mic for a podcast someday...
• Everyday must begin with coffee and time with my hubby.
• I am obsessed with books.
• I make great food but loathe working in the kitchen.
• Never ask me to take care of your plants if you want to see them alive again.
• I love living on a farm, but don't live on one.  So, I have chickens and a bunny in my backyard.  Would the neighbors notice if I had goats?
